Following food, we made our way down the Avenue of the Giants, which is the home of the Redwood Forest. These trees were unbelievable! So tall, so old and so thick. Being in the convertible with the top down put the experience at a whole new level. I (Cari) drove the car through a tree today, which was strictly a video moment so, no pics for that...Dad, you'll have to wait for that!
We stopped on the side of the road to make some sandwhiches, got attacked by wasps, I got emotional, jumped in the car, put the top up and we kept driving...to Willits, California.
We're in a hot part of California in the middle of forest. It's dry here. We haven't unpacked the car...bought a six pack of Coors and are sitting outside our KOA cabin reading and relaxing. We'll deal with it later.
Love,
Cari and Marc

Hey guys, we are having fun here at home with Papa and Claire and Maria. Breanne is at Don and Tammy's and Pauline is, well you know where. I love your blog and can tell you are having a wonderful time. Be safe and keep blogging!!
Dad
Your blogging has been great and it sounds like you are having lots of fun, wish I was with you (well maybe not) haha. Uncle Barry, Kyle and his friend are camping for the weekend near BC hope they are having fun. Brother D is coming here today, going to stay with grandpa, looking forward to seeing him. Kelsie has been hanging out at the stampede all week, I think she is training to be a carney, not sure (haha) in Kelsie's words "there creeps!" Mit moves to Lethbridge next week, no job yet, but she has had a few interviews, so we are hoping some good news soon. All is well, love reading everything you are doing, so exciting, take care, love you lots. Auntie Marina, Kelsie and Tuffy "the cat."
Wow. Pretty impressive. It's amazing that a tree can have a hole big enough to drive through and still be alive.
